Goosard Reserve – a Cam Valley Wildlife Group Conservation Project

Leader: Jim Crouch

Project objective: To manage the reserve for the benefit of fauna and flora and for the enjoyment/education of the public

Project aims:

  • Establish and maintain good working relationship with landownerhoverfly

  • Establish which species are present on the site and maintain a record

  • Identify actions which will benefit fauna and flora

  • Determine management methodology and carry out management work

  • Increase public awareness of the site and its ecological value

Project achievements:

Maintenance of the diversity of the site as a reservoir for local species
